inspiration: Liberty of London

I’ve always had a fascination with textiles – specifically prints. this is one of the things I love about vintage – the amazing prints and colors and quality that you rarely see produced anymore.
one major exception would be Liberty of London. I just stumbled upon this great article about Liberty.
who knew that Arthur Lasenby Liberty, founder of Liberty of London was inspired by kimono’s in mid nineteenth century! amazing…
